Parent Pick-Ups

In an effort to be good neighbors to everyone living near our campus, we are asking and strongly encouraging parents who pick up their students after school to wait to arrive near campus until about 15 minutes before school lets out. This will keep the roads near our schools clear for cars to pass by and for buses to maneuver.

Some of our neighbors have also expressed concerns about being blocked from their driveways by parents waiting to pick up students. If you must arrive early, please be sure you are not keeping homeowners from entering or exiting their property.

Labor Day

REMINDER: Next Monday, September 7 is Labor Day. There will be NO SCHOOL on this day. Also, on Friday, September 4, we will have an EARLY RELEASE DAY. Classes will dismiss on Friday, September 4 as follows:
  • Middle School at Noon
  • High School at 12:10
  • Intermediate School at 1pm
  • Elementary School at 1:10pm

Livestreams

We've made a few small changes to our live streams this year. ALL athletic live streams can now be found on Hudl TV. You can find them 2 ways. 1) Visit our website, then click on "Livestreams" at the top of the page. Select Athletic livestreams. 2) Visit Hudl TV, then search for "Festus High School."

Other live streams such as concerts or hallway "parades" that we choose to live stream, will continue to be found on our YouTube channel or on our District page under "Livestreams" click on "YouTube Livestreams."

Free and Reduced Meal Applications

The Festus R6 School District wants to make sure that every student has a healthy meal every day. Free and Reduced meals are available to those who qualify. To make sure everyone who is eligible receives this benefit, we strongly encourage everyone to fill out and return a Free and Reduced Meal Application.
For those families who received free or reduced priced meals last school year, that benefit will expire on September 25, 2026. In order for that benefit to continue, those families to to complete a new Free and Reduced Meal Application and return it to school before the deadline.

Boys Soccer - 6pm vs North County
Wednesday:
Girls Tennis - 4pm
JV Softball - 5:30pm vs Northwest
Boys Soccer - 6pm vs Fredericktown
Thursday:
Boys Soccer - 6pm vs Pacific
