5 Things To Know This Week - September 14-19

Mark your calendars.  The 2025 Girls Class 4 Cross Country State Champions will receive their championship rings prior to the football game on Friday, September 18.  Awarding state championship team rings has become a Festus tradition and a tangible reward for the hard work and dedication it takes to become a state champion.  The ceremony will begin at approximately 6:15.

Ever had trouble trying to reset your password in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal?  You’re not alone.  Many times, the reason is because the parent did not have a valid email set up as their “recovery email" so when Infinite Campus sent the email to reset your password, you never got it.  Now may be a good time to check and make sure you have a good recovery email set up in your account.  Here’s what you need to do:

If you can’t log in because you have forgotten your password and you don’t get the email to reset it, you can contact Nicole Gurnow at gurnownicole@festusedu.com to reset your password.  Please do this ONLY if you are unable to reset it yourself.

The Festus R6 School District wants to make sure that every student has a healthy meal every day. Free and Reduced meals are available to those who qualify. To make sure everyone who is eligible receives this benefit, we strongly encourage everyone to fill out and return a Free and Reduced Meal Application.

For those families who received free or reduced priced meals last school year, that benefit will expire on September 25, 2026. In order for that benefit to continue, those families to to complete a new Free and Reduced Meal Application and return it to school before the deadline.
